I have had a faith in Jesus since first hearing about him when I was 5yrs old at a kindergarten in Entebbe Uganda in 1948.
That faith grew slowly until challenged to walk in God’s ways at the age of 18 in 1961 and then on being filled with God’s Spirit a year later while at university in Dundee. My faith grew as I took part in various student Church missions and CSSM beach missions and attended a Baptist church in Dundee where I was baptised in 1968.
I worshipped at Holyrood Abbey church in Edinburgh for 2 years and then with an Anglican church in Liverpool and then on moving to Surrey, with Holy Trinity Wallington from 1971 to 1983 where I married my dear wife Kate (who passed to glory in 2019) before joining RBC in 1984 where I have worshipped till now, led small groups, was the premises deacon for 10 years and was involved in setting up the Churches Together NightStop and Furnistore projects.
By God’s grace I have 3 practicing Christian children and 6 grandchildren.
