God, Jesus and faith have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a Pentecostal church and gave my life to the Lord aged 8. When I was 16 I started helping in Sunday School, which led to me running a midweek children’s club. After a number of years in retail and volunteering in the church I felt the call to full time ministry and became a Youth and Children’s Worker in 1998.
This led to a call to Bible College with me completing a degree in theology at Spurgeon’s in South East London and becoming Minister at Earlswood Baptist Church, Surrey, in 2009. After 15 years there the Lord has now called me to serve at Redhill Baptist Church as their Minister.
During the time I spent exploring the call to RBC, Hebrews 10:23-25 became a passage I believe the Lord has given me.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
It is my honour and joy to answer the Lord’s call to Redhill Baptist Church.
