I’m a widow living with my pet budgerigar, who doesn’t talk! I’ve always lived in the South East of England – in Deal, Biggin Hill, Horsham, and Reigate/Redhill. Most of my working career was spent in developing computer systems for Pfizer, Friends Provident and Legal & General, but later I worked for the Baptist Union, which led to an involvement with the association, and finally for a Christian distribution and publishing company.
I became a Christian in childhood, and was baptised at fifteen in 1958. I’ve been at Redhill Baptist since 1975 and have been in and out of leadership several times. I joined the leadership again in 2022.
I have a son, Simon, daughter-in-law, Helen, and two lovely grandsons, Jonathan and Matthew currently aged 19 and 17. Beyond Church and Association interests I enjoy Cross Stitch, and am slightly proud to still be doing Zumba (or trying to) at nearly eighty years old!
