I grew up in Kennington, south London, and started going to church there at the age of 10 when I joined the church choir, but it wasn’t until I was 18 that I gave my life to Jesus Christ and became a Christian.
Several years later, I was baptised at Rye Lane Baptist Church.
We move to Redhill in 1984, initially going to Holy Trinity church before moving to Redhill Baptist Church 4 years later.
I have been leading the church prayer group for a number of years and have had the immense privilege of preaching occasionally at RBC.
I married my wife, Pat, in 1977 and we have 3 wonderful children and 6 beautiful grandchildren.
I have worked in Information Technology for over 50 years, seeing lots of change during that time, and most recently building applications and websites. I am looking forward to retiring at the end of 2023.
My heart is to see people grow in the knowledge of our God through prayer and the scriptures, to see the gifts and talents He has given each one of us be released, and to see the church become a community that reaches out in love to those who don’t yet know about the love of God.
