We know Jesus came to seek and save the lost but who is seeking who in this story?
Zacheaus thought he was looking for Jesus only to find that Jesus was looking for him.
He wanted to know who Jesus was, only to find that Jesus already knew who he was.
Jesus does the unthinkable and invites himself to dinner, breaking all cultural norms and traditions.
There is an urgency to this request – something greater is going on than the conversion of one tax collector.
The risen Christ contines to seek and save and reorder our priorities!
